Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO is reconstituting its library. About 4,000 books consisting of UNESCO Publications and other publications on UNESCO’s field of competence i.e education, science, culture, communication, social science, human science and information , technology. There are number of journals, periodicals and reports as well.

Location and opening

The library is located in the National Institute of Education Complex premises, Maharagama. The library is open from  9.00 a.m to 4.15 p.m from Monday through Friday.
